Free School Meals

All children who are with us at lunchtime can enjoy a delicious hot meal free of charge. These meals are freshly prepared onsite by our kitchen staff, and all allergies and religious diets are catered for. The Derbyshire Catering Service ensures meals are of a high standard, being nutrionally balanced and sourced from local food suppliers.

Dietary Requirements

If your child has specific dietary requirements, there is a form to complete that must be supported by a GP. This form can be accessed by clicking the below link or by contacting the school office.

If your child does bring a packed lunch to school, please make sure it contains a healthy and balanced meal. Please take a look at our 'guide to a healthy lunch' for ideas and inspiration. Please note we are a strict no nuts school.

Universal Free School Meals

In 2014 the Universal Free School Meal (UIFSM) policy was introduced. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free meal regardless of personal circumstances.

Free School Meals

Although children who are with us at lunchtime can currently have a meal free of charge, we would encourage our families to check their eligibility for 'free school meals' by clicking the below link.
